In this introduction, he explains the origin and the nature of the work and its documentary importance. He has graciously allowed theL'Osservatore Romano to publish his introduction to the two volumes which will appear later. Loris Francesco Capovilla, Archbishop of Chieti, will publish shortly the Letters of Pope John XXIII (1902-1962). ![]()
